Aight, so yall know the deal... my trans busted and I bought one...

I get it home and inspected it...

I b/l it's a '90... The serial number reads KF5m332(somethin somethin) but the second line starts LM****...

IIRC, the LM means it's a '90 transmission... is that so, and what, if anything will I need to do to get it to fit in my '91 Talon (I still have parts from '91 transmission, so I can swap)... I b/l I heard something a/b the shifters or something... is this so?

What the hell does b/l mean? Yeah, you and a/b too. :wtf:

I am pretty sure theres no difference 90 to 91 in FWD trannies. The difference for AWD is the transfer case spline count but since you dont have one I dont think there is a difference.

Ok, I thought there was something a/b the shifter's size or something??? like the 90's had shorter shifter arms or somethign...

They are... Newer ones have better leverage on them.
