I have had plenty of problems with this car. I have saved plenty of money fixing and making little parts myself.
About 4 months ago, I disconnected the battery for about 4-5 hours. I removed my seats, center consol, stock stereo to clean it all up. After I was done, I reinstalled everything just like it came out(but cleaner lol) and reconnected the battery and started it. When I got home from class, where i did the work, I turned the car off, locked the doors(with button in car, fobs dont work) and went inside. Later that evening, when I went to start the car, it wouldnt even turn over. All of the panel lights came on, everything still worked and works, it just wont actually engage the starter motor. Every time that I turn the car off, I have a limited amount of time, like 30 seconds, to start the car again before I have to disconnect the battery for 10 seconds, and then reconnect the battery and start it within another 15 seconds. One thing that I did accidentally do when removing the shifter (automatic) is that I pulled the retaining screw out of the side. Would that have anything to do with my problem? besides that, nothing else has been effected. Really love any help...

How old is the battery? Check the voltage on your battery and see what it reads. Make sure your terminals are clean as well.

You need to go back into the shifter area... when you turn the car ove and it will not start... do you hear the starter solenoid ticking quickly.. or hear absolutely nothing.. You may have done something that effected the nuetral safety switch.

i checked everything, and it all seems ok. i put a togle switch on the under steering wheel kick panel and found a way around the problem. i wired it to 2 fuses that go from keyless entry to power source
