alternator removal

ok i have a 99 f250 powersrtoke 7.3 and im taking the alternator off today and i need a little help just in case what all do i need to do this and is there anything that needs to be done at a shop insted of at my house...

First disconnect the battery negative. You will need to take the belt off first.
You probably will need to take the tension off the belt to remove. The rest is a socket wrench and some sockets.
