Trunk latch on '94 Concorde is broken - cannot get the trunk open. After the original latch was damaged by someone slamming it against an object inside the trunk, I replaced the original Concorde latch with one from a junkyard '93 Dodge Intrepid. The Intrepid lock and latch was of a slighty different design, so I had to disable the Concorde lock cylinder/cable assembly that allowed me to open the trunk with the key. After that, the trunk still opened AOK with the keyfob remote and the button in the glove compartment. Unfortunately, the "new" Intrepid latch also broke (I don't know how), and now I cannot get the trunk open. I tried going in thru the back seat, but there is an awesome body crossmember between the back of the back seat and the trunk, which looks insurmountable to me!!
Do you have any neat ideas on how I can get into this trunk without using a crowbar so I can replace the latch and get access to my trunk again???
Help!!
Thanks!

Try the Chrysler dealer shop. Tell them what you have done and they may have a master key that will open it. Probably will not charge just for that.

With the back seat out you should be able to reach the lock rod with a looooooong screwdriver.
