Need new side mirror!

My 2000 Alero had the misfortune of getting hit the other day by a bicyclist who took off my driver's side mirror. I got so used to using it, it's very hard to not have! I'm looking for a replacement. Anybody know of a good place to look for something that will match what I have (white mirror)?

I'd prefer not to have some clunky second-hand mirror that doesn't match. Guy is more than willing to pay cost of replacement. I'm thinking a new one should be less than $75 right??

Thanks!

Check car-part.com for wrecking yards all over the country. You should be able to find one in the same color at a reasonable price.

They're way more than that. To find the exact part...I'm assuming you have the power sideviews...are about $225 plus the cost of paint.

I'm having the same problem as you. A rock shot up from someones tire, hit and cracked my mirror housing, and launched the mirror off. I have power sideviews and the mirror housings on my car are color coded. Because it's so expensive, I've been going for nearly a year and half without the mirror.

I just did a search on car-part.com and found the most expensive one to be around $100 for a right side electric. Even with shipping these are a lot less than a brand new one!! I searched yards in California and found one in Sun Valley for $75 in white and one in San Fran for the same price. Hope this helps.
