So the radio stopped working.

Checked the fuse under the steering column and it's fine.

Therefore, I replaced it with an after-market deck today and still no power.

Is there something specific I should look for or do??

Or am I just relegated to checking every single wire in the whole car?

Thanks.

Check for power inside the fuse box, both sides to ground, should be something (12v -14v) with the car running. If it's there put a fuse in the check for voltage at the connector going into the deck itself.

If you have no power at the fuse box with the car on, wire is cut / bad / disconnected between the pickoff and the fuse box.

If you have power at the fuse box and none at the connector with a fuse in the wire between the fuse box and the connector for the deck is cut / bad / disconnected.

If you have power at both points, the wire that senses the car is on and tells the deck to turn on might be bad.
