Im fixing to do the dpfi to mpfi swap and i have to get a 88 si, distributor,ecu pm6,harness,but im getting a 95 intake manifold its still a mpfi but will this still work or not?

I believe the rule of thumb is as long as its a d series manifold it will fit

so the poor guy don't get confused.. isn't there an extra sensor on the 95 IM? I'm not sure, we used a 92 IM on our 88 swap... and there's a sensor that doesn't get used..

simply plig all the vaccume lines and if there aint a sensor for you to plug in then dont plug anything in. simple.

that's not the point at all

the point is, when you do the "DX/Si" swap, there is a plug on the harness that doesn't get used... and if you use a EG intake mani, there is sometimes (also on some EF's apparently) a sensor on the back of the mani that doesn't get used... it can be confusing for a first timer.

oh yeah clip the sensors that arent going to be used. they just make your bay look like crap. and dont make the same mistake i did and make it look stock. i had probly 10 wires going all thrue the engine bay looking like crap. solder heat shrink and start it up. good luck
