Went to autozone today for a SES code scan and it returned these codes:
P0403
P0440
i read the P0440 code is a loose gas cap or something, i had to get a new gas cap because the car diddnt have one when i bought it, so you think that would have anything to do with it?

Here is a guide on evaporative emissions codes:

I would inspect the gas cap seal and if there is any doubt about it just get a replacement gas cap. DTC P0440 (large leak) is normally a loose or bad gas cap.
DTC P0403 is an EGR valve circuit malfunction. Check the electrical connector to the EGR valve.
You may just want to have the PCM reset and see if the DTCs return.

ok so ill check the gas cap seal but if that still doesnt work, i was wondering, this may not make much sense, but is there any way to disable/bypass the gascap/emmisions-type sensor so it doesnt keep setting off my SES light??? or would it be harder or something else than i think it is?...... or just plain dumb to do in general?

No and it would be a difficult task to do that. Same sensors are used for the complete evaporative emissions system and other tests that are performed. It is better to fix the existing problem.
