I have a '91 Lumina a friend of mine gave me. I finally got the title issue settled after 2 years. It's not the best looking car. It has hail damage, smoky inter. cracked glass all most 200,000 miles, two flat tires but every thing still works heating A/C motor tranny. It has a 3.1L V6 motor after sitting for 2 years I put new gas in it,an oil change and new battery and it started right up. I looked up KBB and it didn't even give me a price. I rate this car in poor condition KBB said N/A fair condition got me $650.00
So I guess my ? is how much do you think I may be able to get out of this if I part it out? I'm thinking not to much in the first place.

I'm thinking if I can't get that much out of it I will pull the engine and tranny and put it in a dune buggy or something.

What should I do I have no idea. Thanks inadvance

If it fired right up with no knocks or anything, it'd probably be worth fixing up. Even with the high mileage. However if you don't have the funds, you could probably sell it and get at least a few hundred out of it, simply because it starts/runs well. If you did decide to pull engine and tranny for whatever reason, you could probably get some cash for parts on ebay. Things like headlights and taillights are offered for around $15-20 a piece on there. Hell, if you have the time you might get more out of it that way....who knows!
If you know of anyone that has a [non-running] lumina just sitting around, you might be able to use yours for parts and fix the other one up and sell it for more $$$
