Need help with aftermarket intake

I have a 98 Grand Prix, and was going to install an aftermarket intake off of Ebay and the computer is in the air box!!! I don't know what to do with the computer. Can I mount it to the fender well? Should i make a waterproof box to hold it?

i have my PCM just sitting there on the shelf where the airbox was. used some zipties to keep it snug.
