Hey guys, I own a 2005 Mazda 6s and I was looking into parts for it. First off, it doesn't seem that there are short rams available for it (?) so I've opted for a Injen CAI with their HydroShield and hope for the best (I live in Michigan).
I was also looking at exhaust systems and while the Magnaflow cat-back looks nice, I can't seem to locate any 3-1 headers or high flow catalytic converters for it. Are these available or coming out anytime soon?
Thanks,
James

If I were goinh to get an aftermarket exhaust I would go for replacing headers all the way back. Catbacks, replacing everything after the catalytic converter, have been shown to increase power, although not at a great level, on the Mazda 6. They are primarily still a majority sound/visual improvement, with performance increases a secondary benefit.
A magna flow cat back system claims gains of 8hp and 8.4 ft/lb.
Custom Performance engineering has a complete exhaust system for the 6. The specs on their site looks like a 20hp gain.
