would someone be so kind as to enligten me on how to properly thin gunze lacquers? i'm having trouble figuring out the ratio of paint to thinner.

As a general rule, thin it to the consistancy of milk. That is a starting place, if it tries to powder as you spray, thin it a little more, if it runs easily, add a little paint. Always do test shots and experiment to get the technique down. It's possibly a synthetic lacquer similar to Tamya's TS paints, if so you may need to get Gunze's thinner, if you haven't already.
