I got my current bandpass box for free and never really needed anything more but bandpass takes space and i want to use at least some of my space without folding down the seats so here i am. I was wondering what opinions you fellas have on what i would be best suited with. I'm looking for a single 12 that works well with a ported enclosure. I will use my current amp, a pioneer 2 channel, and will bridge the two channels so it has to handle 440 watts continuously. Can't remember if that's 2 or 4 ohms, i will check. I don't wanna spend much in total, probably no more than 350-400 for sub+box. I thought audiobahn would be good but i hear they sound like crap and i listen to Madonna as much as i listen to Lil Jon so i can't have anything that's just pure boom and/or pure loud. jbl looked like a good option but haven't seen anything that can handle a lot of power. Also, if anyone thinks they have what i'm looking for laying around i'll consider a used setup too.

I'm selling a a JL 12" W6v2 for 225$ + shipping. Also selling a Kicker SX900.2 Amp for 280 + shipping. These kick hard as heck and since you want SOUND QUALITY... this is totally the setup of what you should get. Ask anyone about JL W6v2's.

although, since you wanted to post in an open forum, i'll be glad to make some crits: "Ask anyone about he JL's", i think they are overpriced eyecandy that, although does perform very well, can be matched and suceeded by other drivers. Kicker is an overrated company, and for that price, most anyone on these boards would recomend another amp.

that amp is not that bad.... overpriced but not a bad amp 450 rms to 2 channels is not bad and from a company that does not give you the specs from some wack voltage like some lower quality amps do
