:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: Ok this has been buggin the heck out of me and its gotten worse so im gonna fix it if i know what it is.
When i go about 45-55 my right front tire starts shaking like real bad, the lug nuts are tight, and my tires arent low. my stepdad says its the strut but he was drunk when he told me this so im asking people that know what there talking about(that being you guys lol). Is that what it is?? if not what else could it be...
And if it is the strut should i replace both of the front ones at the same time or just do one????
Also whats the chances of the head being warped when changing a head gasket, cause i need a new one, but this is my only car and if the heads warped im F*CKED!! lol Thanks alot guys!!!!!

Hmm, ever thought about BALANCING the wheel, just because it doesnt shake at other speeds doesnt mean it not balanced right. You could have thrown a weight.

it is actually a unbalanced tired. this happened to me before i got my rims and once i got my rims it went away and i had a smooth ride. they also unbalance as the tire gets older and wear. people reccommend balancing them ever like 5 or 10 miles but you got me.

the only way to find out if the head is warped is to replace the gasket the way the manual says you should and hope it doesn't start leaking again...most machine shops only charge 50-100 bucks to plane it down for you..depends on how much you value the time you put into replacing the gasket...if you don't mind taking the chance of having to do it twice you could just change it and hope for the best

just go get your tires balanced. same thing happened to me. i had a weight fall off, 'cause they didn't put it on good enough. damn thing was shaking like a MF.
