Gas cap door

I have been looking to get a 2001 grand am GT . I have noticed that a couple of the gas cap doors would not close all the way. How do you fix this problem? Is there any other common problems that I should be looking for? thanks

The cap has an attached line that connects it to the hinge part of the door. Its probly just turned around inside and in the way. I hav never seen any not close from anything else :dunno:

Watch for leaking intake gaskets, and wheel speed senors(hub assemblies) in the front .
