I never purchased buffing metalizer paint before, but Ive seen pictures from other sites on them and they seem pretty good. Id notice that it says Airbrush only.
I was just wondering if anyone ever applied it with a brush, not airbrush..?
I notice they have both buffing and the non-buffing kinds.

The paint is prethinned for airbrush and will not work with a brush.

This depends on the manufacturer and the particular paint color. I have some Model Master Metalizers that I have just brushed on. They work great for smaller pieces such as those found on the engines of mototrcycles (this is what I use them on) I mainly use them for touch ups etc..They dry extrmely fast so you have to work rather quickly, but it is possible to use a regular brush with them. I used meatalizers on the individual chain link pins, and sprocket bolts on this Suzuki. I suppose I could have used regular silver, but it takes forever to dry whereas the the metalizer dried almost as soon as I was done, well, dried to the touch anyway.
On the flip side, I have a whole boat load of Alclad II paints that are also mrtalizers, and there is no way I could brush paint this stuff as it is too thin. Hope this helps. Matt-

Try Squadron.com
I did a search to see if they carried it and they have a good selection. Price is just under $7 a bottle. It sprays like a dream and looks really good when used.
Thanks for the kudo's on the bike. Good luck with your build. Matt-:)
ps. They also make iridescent colors... that change colors depending on the angle you look at it from.

Hi Matt,
The Model Master Metalizers you are mentioning is from spray can or square glass bottle? Is it lacquer paint or enamel?
Thanks!

The Model Mater paints are in round 1/2 ounce bottles. They are a lacquer based paint. The small square ones are the old Testors line of paints and are enamels. Hope this helps. Matt-
