push button ignition

I was watching a vid on a ford GT today, and thought the big red ignition button was pretty baddass. Thinking of my remote starter and how it works, i came to the idea that installing a push button start on my 98 GT wouldnt be too hard. If the key was already in the run position, and i heald a button that would run from the 12v constant line into the ignition line, then hit the "Ignition button" (which would be from the 12v constant into the crank line) i thought it might work. this is just me dicking with the idea, but waht are some thoughts?

The ricers have been putting them on Civics around here. They get the button off of a Honda S2000. If you have remote start you should have a (-) negitive trigger start wire. Just wire the switch up to that.

You'll still have to put your key in the ignition and have it on the run position.
