Ok a guy I know is selling an F22 motor with everything except for the wiring harness for 700 canadian, its 40-50 pounds lighter than the H series motor I believe and just want to know if this swap would be worth it? It doesnt burn oil and here are the specs:
Type: Aluminum-Alloy In-Line 4
Displacement (cc) 2156
Horsepower@rpm (SAE net, MT/AT) 135@5200
Torque (lb.ft. @ rpm) 142@4000
Compression Ratio 8.8:1 (hmm.. turbo?)
Valve Train: SOHC 16-Valve
125,000 KM
5 speed tranny with good newer clutch (so I was told by the previous owner, she had no recipts but it works good)
Comes with:
distributor in great condition
intake and exhaust manifolds with downpipe
throttle body
axles to use for cores
ECU
all sensors
starter
alternator
A/C compressor (if needed)
side mounts (I'm using the front and rear ones )
*no wiring harness* because I used it for my H22A

...its so not worth the trouble.. 142hp? that's like an ls w/ 3 times the trouble. the f series engines are some of the worst in honda' lineup..dont bother.

CRX HFs had like 60hp with 80ft-lbs or something like that.

Are you sure you want to go with Place Racing??? They make shitty mounts if you ask me. My car shakes like crazy from 2000 rpm - 4000 rpm. the urethane insert it coming out. You should see if HAsport makes a mount kit for what you want. That's what I'm gonna get. Those nice billet mounts work much better and look good too.

..the place h-series kit is not a bolt-in though..its weld-in :( and I've heard its pretty half ass. if you're going to go to all the trouble of doing this swap, make it worthwhile and do the h series! :)

I think HCP mounts makes h-series kit for our cars. If you want to put an f22 motor in it then yeh h-series mounts should work.
