Just picked up my 04' and I'm trying to fogure out how to display my trip odomter in the DIC. The manual says that with the odometer displayed to press and hold the "reset" button until the trip odometer appears - just is wtf is the reset button?

There should be one button located around where the odomoter is displayed. Press it once to switch from trip to overall mileage. When displaying the trip mileage hold it to reset the mileage to zero. Being that yours is an 04 I believe you have 2 trip counters. So you should have to press the button 3 times to make a complete cycle.

I guarantee you there are no reset buttons, and no buttons AT ALL on the instrument cluster. This is the crazy maker. I wonder if the business/personal use trackers are supposed to make up for this? All I want is to know what type of mileage I'm getting independent of the freaking computer. Oh well.

The Button you want to hold down looks like a backwards L but has an arrow on the end. Kind of like this L__> but flipped the other way.
Once you find the trip you want, Example Personal, hold that button down and it will reset.

You can scroll through the overall odometer, the trip odometer and the business odometer with the top button on the lower left part of the steering wheel. The reset button is the button on the lower right button on the steering wheel. Its all in the manual if you read it.
