9-11

I just watched "United 93" and I got to thinking what would I do in that situation. So I figured I would start a thread asking what you guys would do if you plan was hijacked by terrorists. Now think about this, you think that if you cooperate you have a better chance of being safe but then you hear that 5 other planes have been hijacked also. I think at first I would have sat calmly untill I figured out that we were doomed from the start and at that point I think I would be up kicking some towel head ass. What about you?

I flew a few weeks after 9-11, several times after, and I plan on flying far into the future(vacation planed in january) I just think about "what if" but I think I would want to go out with a fight

I would seriously come up with a crazy ass plan and take them all out... Seriously, I could pull it off too. I'm crazy when in a tight spot. lol

I dont know what I would do. It would involve lots of killing and trying to fly a plane though.

Yeah. 2 or 3 of them against a bunch of us. We would win without a doubt. I'd fucking go postal and BAMM!! Right in the face. No way would anyone get passed me.

I would kill them. I'm with Brian, when I'm in a tight spot I'm a friggin genius and could be "that guy" who saves the plane. I've actually thought about that before, like what if I had been on that plane, what would I have done? And that's the conclusion I came to.

I didn't see that movie but I am fully aware of 9-11, didn't the terrorists have box cutters? Come on all you have to do is come charging at one of them with a duffal bag and beat them to the ground. I would deff. try to be the hero, I wouldn't want that title so much I just would like to have a reason to kill someone.

Yeah, box cutters are small and stupid. I mean I always carry a blade with me at all times and it's a lot bigger than a box cutter. Those things are so little. You really can't stab a person with them. All you have to do is get one person in front and behind them and bamm in the face. Take anything and throw it at them or hit them with it and it'll do the trick also.

That great and all that you guys want a reason to kill people, but think logically. By the time anyone would formulate a plan to kill the terrorists, the pilots were already killed. So lets say you charged them and killed all the hijackers on board, then what? Who flys the plane? At that point in time, I'll bet you are shit out of luck. Honestly I highly doubt anyone of us can fly a plane...

But for funs sake, it would be pretty badass to go all out on their ass and kill, and the for shits and giggles try and land the plane.

BTW, who on here thinks that 9-11 was conspiracy? Google the "loose change" video and watch....its awesome and makes you think. I feel that 9-11 was a conspiracy, and that the US government new what was going to happen.....just watch the vid

People can walk you through how to fly. I've played Flight Simulator since it first came out. Even done flights like that with no window, jsut the controls, maps, and radars. Actually did pretty good.

They actually had 3" blades not box cutters like actual knives and they stabbed a guy in the neck first thing. Also one guy had a fake bomb but you dont know that its fake

lol ive played flight simulator too, how hard could it be in real life? plus ive played metal gear solid, so i have extensive experience in killing terrorists.

i dunno about some of the posts here.. how many people on those planes actually thought about the same thing before that flight? they thought about how they would jump anyone who messed with them? for some reason, nobody on that plane was able to stop any of those terrorists, boxcutters or not, and it all ended in tragedy.

in a situation like that, i dont know what id do. with my luck, id be in the window seat with two fat old ladies between me and the aisle, no possible way to make a quick move. of course i wouldnt want to see anyone die, and if i could id try to stop the terrorists. i dunno about killing them, id rather see people like that in some dank nasty prison somewhere. but i could never bring myself to kill someone in the first place. i have never had the thought about wanting to kill anyone before. I do believe in severe ass-whoopings though. so in that case, I would have rallied everyone together to take the magazine out of the pocket of the seat in front of them, roll it up, and boom, you have at least 120 passengers with something longer than boxcutters. As far as the pilot goes, I'm sure that there is at least one doctor or someone with a lot of knowledge on the plane that could take directions to make an emergency landing.

box cutters aren't shit. Ive cut myself just working on my car worse than boxcutters could do.


ok heres an edit that im making because i didnt see pr_ricers last post. boxcutters or 3" knives big whoop. and a bomb, fake or not, they plan on dropping the plane anyways.

I would just use what training I have. I could treat the injured, and fuck some terrorists up no problem. ;)



On another note. Playing flight simulator and flying a plane are completely different things.


One big difference is you have yaw peddles. If you don't use those you are gonna fuck yourself.

Yeah, I was really into being a pilot for a while. I think that some can completely autopilot themselves, if not then its not far away. ~6-7 years ago when I was into that the pilot I talked to said that his cargo plane could land itself IIRC. I dont know, I dont think many of the terrorists were all that big and knife or not, they are severely out numbered. I dont think it would be hard at all to alteast foil their plan but truth be told, I bet if a plane gets taken over you are dead whether its going into a building or the ground from a last ditch effort from a terrorist.

Well planes can't land themselves. But they can almost land themselves.

They can vector themselves into a landing approach. But you still actually have to control the landing of the aircraft.

yeah, i know about autopilot, but i was kinda trying to make a point that someone could guide a person through the steps to turn on autopilot. it doesnt have to be an actual person to fly the plane

Thats been around for a long time. BMW has had that for a couple years now, not really a new thing and from what I've hear it works great
