Heater clicking noise

I am getting a loud clicking noise whenever the heater is on. If I flip the temp gauge to cold it shuts off. The sound is coming from the drivers side rear tire area (it isn't the tire just in that section of the vehicle). Any ideas??? Thanks KSUWILDCATZ

I would Venture a guess (PUN) that there is "something" hitting the rear fan, which is behind the plastic panel in the rear.

You may be able to pull up the cup holder and get a look down there and pull out whatever is making the noise. If not, you will have to get the side panel loose to get a better look at what is going on.

I would guess that you have kids in the back on a regular basis?

Take Care,
