contour svt fast or flop?

im wondering what you guys think of the contour svt..how do they fair up against your average everyday tuner cars on the street? eg 240sx, civic with b16, gsr's, celica's, dsm's??? like are they a decently quick car in your opinion?

Back when it debuted in 98, it was a relatively fast car. However, it todays standards, its still a quick car, but the car manufactors have cars like SRT-4, cobalt SS, etc which have raised the bar. Its still a decently quick car, but thats the reason most people decide to go with the 3.0L swap. Some people with pretty mild 3.0L swaps are running low 14s/high 13s on their setups.

yeah Ive always seen the CSVT as a drivers car, decent power, nice handling, smooth ride and comfortable...like a small BMW.
