How much would sensors drain battery

I'm thinking of installing both front and rear backup sensors for my car. The front sensors would be on all the time when I'm going forward. Is that a good ideal or will it drain my battery by a lot. It would be like having my headlights on all the time while driving. The rear sensor only activates when I'm backing up.

Your battery doesnt power the vehicle while running, thats the job of the alternator. So as long as the car is running you wont have a problem.

why do you want sensors on the front of your vehicle? so you don't have to look where you are driving?

So when his girlfriend/wife is doing there makeup while driving they can concentrate more the mirror, than the road.

Sorry its the first thing that came to mind.

Its probably for parking in a garge or in an apartment complex.

you could install laser sensors in the front of your car for variable cruise control options, and my friend even has a radar detector on the front of his car, looks like a sensor. (i don't actually know if it works well or not)
