92 PAU Power Locks

Hello again!! I'm having problems with my power locks on my 92 pau.:banghead: They don't seem to be working. I press the buttons on the doors but nothing happens, no noise or anything. But when I use my keyless remote they work, except the front passenger door. With the keyless remote the front passenger one works once in a while, but the other doors open and close fine. They also work when I shift in and out of park, with the same exception of the front passanger door. All other electrical functions work perfectly. Don't know what's wrong.

If anyone can provide me with some help it would be very well appreciated!

I just had my 92 PA in the shop to replace the trim above the windshield in an effort to stop a persistent leak. When I got the car back the locks were behaving much like yours. No control except for the transmission unlocking the doors when shifting to park. The switch in the driver door didn't act right - the top lock position seemed OK but the bottom unlock position acted jammed. When I unplugged that switch the doors could lock and unlock normally, except that the first unlock from the remote unlocks all the doors. I ordered a replacement switch (now discontinued) and when I installed it the locks didn't work! Unplug it again and they work 97%. Right now I'm not sure what to do. I am going to unplug the other switch (passenger door) and see what effect that has. The power switch relay is new, replaced when I was troubleshooting an intermittent power lock problem last fall. That went away when I replaced the circuit breaker for the power door locks. Not sure what the problem is now but I thought the description of my problem might help. I have the electrical service manual and might get lucky.
