i have got 2001 altima. It's mileage is now 60000. Which are the required maintenance service I have to do??? I have got 4 new tires and new battery. So I do not want to spend more money and want to do which is really required. Can any one let me know???

My dashboard is showing 'Service Engine soon' light. It is for that 60000 mileage service only, correct???

well as I learned on my 2002 Altima
Altimas do not have timing belt, A chain instead which is good cause it does not require any maitenance. so you should be ok on your 60000 mileage service.
Your check engine light is another story... those do not come on to remind you about a checkup.
There was a recal on timing sensor you should look into that. Also I just got my computer "reprogramed" for the same reason?
TAKE IT TO THE DEALER, do not waste time with local superman mechanics. They cant reprogram your computer :).
Good luck....
