Ok, here we go. I am getting this information from an australian magazine which I bought off of ebay some time back. It's the #9 issue of High Performance Imports. The one with the nice big blue R34 on the cover.

All the cars are stock except the R32 which had a turbo timer.

Torque Redline 0-100km/h 400m
R32 353@4400 7500 4.73 13.02
R33 368@4400 8000 4.94 13.19
R23 V-spec 392@4400 8000 4.92 13.13

Is this stock car figures? The maximum torque looks very different from Nissan Japan's own specs. Even though there is a gentleman agreement I don't think it will make a difference of 100 lb-ft.

I guess I will be getting a R32. Oh, wait, no a R33. No R32. Damn, which one.

OK, I am going to make a decision, I will be getting a R32, maybe.

Depends on what you're planning on doing. Do yourself a favor though and see both cars in person before you buy. IMO I think the R32 looks like a meaner car with the right wheels. Where as the R33 is more refined and isnt quite as aggressive. Plus the R32 is lighter and quicker because of the lighter weight;)

I just want you to know Nightmare, I had my heart set on a R33, like the one R33 has, but the more I look at yours, I think it's going to be a R32.

Cheaper, lighter, meaner looking, ya it's probably going to be a R32. I will take into account that Iwill need to see both in person. I hope they will have some a NOPI this year.

First of all, dont believe what you read in that magazine... if you know the guy who writes in it... sometimes, he just makes up anything or mis inform...

Secondly, presuming the power is up from standard, in my opinion, R32 is great for a 'first' GTR, drag drag drag, race race race and thrash vehicle... i drove one for a few months... its easy to handle and move around... if you loose the back end, always easy to control..and you can do alot of fun stuff with it... R33 is larger and more defined... you thrash this car and youll most probably pay.. unles you are really good at driving it...R34, i dont know anything of what its like yet, but ofcorse for me... its the next step up...

kinda like your woman... R32, small and easy to control.. she listens to you and fun... R33, in most instances more mature, she's in control.. you step out of line and you will regret.. R34??? haha the big mama... hahaha

(Last ones just joking btw)

Thanks N/A,

But now I am going to think about kittycat everytime I get into my skyline. I guess we all do anyways, damn it sucks being a guy:rolleyes:

About the R32, first time I saw a pic of it, I thought it was kinda ugly, but the darn thing has grown on me, and now I do like the looks. I will be test driving both when I get the chance.

Yes, I did...nothing can beat the look of an R32. Especially not a white(the ugliest color in earth) R33.

On the other hand, I'm partial to white R33s, black R34s and gun gray metallic R32s. ;)

I HATE whte colors on cars. They just look freakin oogly! and gayish. Also R33 aint look that hot like the R32 or R34, but nothing can beat the original 'Godzilla'!

That's what I said, right? I like R32s best in Gun Gray Metallic. I only like the R33s in white.

I like the 400R in any color. ;)

Why do you hate white so much?

Yeah, my bad...for some unkown reason I totally thought of silver metalic when i read gun, heh...dont ask why.

I dunno why I hate white. I just hate that color on any car with a passion. I think it makes the car look uninteresting and boring. I havent seen white color to be so popular outside of the US, NZ and Australia.

I've been living in Boston, MA in the last 6 years or so, but I'm from Europe(Hungary doubt u have any idea where it is, hehe) originally. I just noticed this trend that white colors, especially for sport/fast cars are very popular in the US, especially on the West Coast, while u couldnt even sell a white colored sport car back home, heh.

Interesting fact: Auto magazines will [almost] never put a white car on the cover. The only notable exceptions that come to mind are JDM-specific mags that put Honda's Type R cars on the front. The token Type R color is Championship White.
