Does anyone have any idea how to get the rear drums off or even WHY they would not come off? In park, emergency brake is off, tire off and drum will NOT come loose... About to drop a match in the gas tank.

Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

Rust is usually the cause. Carefully, using a hammer, hit the drum between the wheel studs. Never hit the drum on the outside. Only hit the flat parts between the studs. The bigger the hammer the better. You can also spray some PB Blaster to help loosen the rust.

Try it in neutral so you can spin the drum to help extract it.

BINGO! Used WD-40 for 2 days to be safe, set a bar in behind on the flat edge and smacked it\them 1 time and popped off with not a single problem.

Thanks
