ok the other day some guy flipped me off and i got pissed so i chased him in his lil suzuki...ANYWAYS obviously being his car weighed all of 2000 lbs he could stop alooot faster. well he stopped and took a corner. and i tried to stop and take the same corner but i was still going to fast an i yanked the wheel and hit the brakes. well i made the corner ok and all(theres alot more to the story)
after the chase i pulled into the gas station to fill up :naughty: after only hearing the screaming of my intake for the past 15 minutes it was quiet and i noticed it sounded like my power steering fluid was low or empty cause it was whining. even my car oblivous g/f noticed something wasnt right lol. so i got out and sure enough it was bone dry
what do you think caused all my fluid to leak out. its been a week now and 800 miles later and still no problems still full on fluid

Well road rage may have done it.:grinyes: :grinno:
You might put a bind/pressure on steering like turning wheel all of the way one way and see if anything leaks out.
Just keep a eye on it for a while.

It wasn't low to begin with was it? Power steering fluid doesn't just arbitrarily dump out. There has to be a leak someplace. Just to be sure run a complete visial inspection of the power steering pump, especially the pressure and return lines to the rack and pinion. Use good lighting. Inspect the cap seal and the area around the PS pulley.
I recall working with one GP owner that had an unexplained fluid loss and he had blown a rack seal. The rubber accordian bellows at the inner tie rod was holding the lost fluid. And eventually he noticed it was leaking. In his case he wound up replacing the complete rack and pinion unit. Hopefully your issue is just a fluke.

i dont know if this has any relations to it but ill be making a post in asecond about it. i raced a mustang on the way to work and then it drove fine all was good. then on my lunch it was fine. on the way back from my lunch i started the car and it sounded like 2 metal washers were like clinging against eachother making a high pitched rattle. i dont know if its a coupler( dont know what a bad one sounds like but i know it rattles) i do know the sound is coming from mid engine left hand/front side of the engine. so i dunno if t has some thing to do with the power steering unit or just a coupler or what..keep in mind though i did just put a new serp. belt and supercharger belt on. alongwith new plugs wires 180 t-stat and a new fuel filter.
