I didn't think anything was wrong with my car at all..I took it in to have my wheels looked at, and they took me a busted one in the rear...I didn't even know....... it cost 94.77 for the part, and for the total install it was like 159.99... if that helps.

Autozone sells Timken brand. $79.99 with a good warrenty. I had a link up months ago with a flaw on their website where they were shown for $49.99. I made them price match their own fuck up when i did mine. You need a 30mm deep well socket and get the big axle nut off while the car is on the ground, then you have to remove your rotors and calipers. There are 3 torx-55 size bolts that need to come out through the sweet spot in the wheel bearing. Once those are out, you can do the job right and put the new seals in the back which requires you removing your strut bolts, or not since you got alot of miles out of the stock ones before they went ( this is what i did). I did both of mine in a hr.

So what are the symptoms of a bad wheel bearing? I just purchased this car and it has a whining sound in the front.Do they whine when they need to be replaced?

Lift the car off the ground. Grab the wheel at 3 and 9 o'clock. Push in and out on it. If it moves at all, thats your problem. I was never able to really do this with mine, but when i took it out, i was able to move the hub about 1/4" back and forth in and out of the housing.

I was thinking more along the lines of literally waiting for 3clock and then try to push the wheel in/out and then 9 clock myself
