Electrical problem

1999 Cavalier 2.2 heres the deal, my gas gauge stops working around 1/2 tank, the odometer goes on the fritz quite frequently displaying all sorts of unreadable digits, the check engine light is on and off every other week, the fan kicks in when engine reaches 95c.....as of this point i can diagnose no mechanical failures, new waterpump, new thermostat, coolant is ok......someone said "control module".......any ideas would be helpful

Maybe disconnect the battery over night to reset the computer. Just a thought.

If the check engine light is coming on start with a code check and post back codes.
