chuki you got any pirhana (sp) in there? my friend austin has two in his tank... i guess they can go like 3 weeks without eating? so we waited 2 and a half until they were starvin for food... we drove to petco and bought like 100 feeding fish (theyre like $.10 a piece) and dropped all of them in at once... it was insane. the tank went red in like 20 seconds lol. and then we did it again only for 2 weeks... but only put 2 feeding fish in at the end... they ended up fighting over it - it was the most intense shit ive ever seen lol

i have 15 red bellies in a 135 gallon. All about 4-5 inches long. Then i have two sanchizi pirahnas and 2 black pirahna's. THose are more rare and the sanchizi are said to be MEEEEEEAAAAAAAN as fuck. I would have to agree. SInce one of them is about an inch long and he eats a whole fish to him self. But anyways feeders are not good for the fish. There fatning. What i do is buy frozen uncooked fish fillets at the grocery store and thaw it out. Throw it in and its gone in about two minutes. Your hand would easily be gone to bones in about 5 minutes or less. Dont starve the pirahnas they will start to eat each other. Fin nipping is a normal pirahna behavior, they nip each others fins for nutrient reasons.

And the funny thing, i also have fish that there main course of diet in the wild is pirhanas. Ever heard of a wolf fish?? BAD ASS!!!!!!!!!!! They dont look mean, but when they eat.......they f'ing eat. They do have teeth though. Kind of spear like teeth. They sit at the bottom and hunt fish from below. THere mean customers let me tell ya.

I could go on and on with all the predatory fish i have, i have over 1500 gallons of tanks in teh basement and my uncle has over 2000 gallons in his. The family is a fish enthusiast family lol. Most would say hardcore.

koi pond. We have one of those too. If you dig it deep enough below the freeze line the pond wont freeze solid. The fish will survive the winter, they dont have to be fed, its pretty amazing really. We get pretty decently cold winters here in st.louis and our fish survive. Some may die but alot survive. We take them in most of the time though if we have alot that breed and have the space in a tank inside lol. But goldfish and stuff we leave out and they are there every spring still(depending on how harsh the winter is, because ours can freeze solid if its cold long enough). Now granted minnesota is colder for a longer period of the year than here, but they should be ok if its deep enough. But thats ALOT of digging. I think here its about 3 ft deep. Up there i dont know. Ours isnt that deep though.....its like 2 1/2 at most since i was like 3-4 years old when my dad built it. So when we get the really bad winters it will freeze solid. But on average we get about 6-10 inches of solid ice on it.

yea i had one shark. California sand shark also known as a smooth hound. It was about 2 ft. He was pretty damn cool. I dont like keeping fish that need ALOT of room to move. He was in another 200 gallon we have. He had plenty, but still when feeding time came, he would jump out and shit because he would go WILD. Crazy wild. There so damn fast. One time our grouper swallowed his whole head then spit him out lol. It was awesome to see. But my uncle had 6 sharks in his pond. All were atleast 3ft. Some almost 4 ft. Its a 10ftx10ft pond, about nutsack deep(2.5-3ft). Had nurse sharks, leapord sharks, banded, and cat sharks. But yea we've had authors of fish books and shit come by our house to see our stuff. My dad is super hardcore into this stuff. He went to Peru with some authors and what not for a amazon safari type thing. Stayed with the indians and stuff lol, traded them crayons and batteries for souvenirs. We got some pretty cool indian padels. All this shit is hand made too, its so different the lifestyle they live.

If you dont want your sharks anymore, I heard they taste pretty good.. like dip them in beer bater or whatever then put em in a deep fryer. Just like gator!! Yum
