Dash pad removal? 00 Lesabre

My 2000 lesabre dash pad has warped and sticks up right in front of the cluster. Could someone help with 1) How do I repair this and/or 2) How do i remove the pad. The dealer can sell a new pad for $295.00. Thanks, Ed
