I have looked at to many magazines!!!!! I have a 350 with a 228/234 @.5. I am going to set my initial timing at 14 or 16 with 36 totle. Do I set it 1000 rpm like I think. My reson for the question is I have an th350 when I put it in drive it is 800rpm. So is initial timing at 1,000 or 800? Also will 16 give me more power in the 1,000-2,000 range?
If you need more info. 350 chevy, trickflow heads (2.02/1.60), RPM air gap, 670 street avenger (did not work out of the box. Added bigger jets and 45 shooter) hedders 2 1/2 flowmaster, B&M th350 with 2,500 stall, 3.55 rear posi, 26.1 tall M/T, 1955 chevy 3,189 LB. The trick flow stuff is great. Don't get me started on the street avenger.
Thanks for the help
