Borat!!!

I think it's going to be genius!!! It was a smash in the UK, so numbers say at least and supposedly there's a bidding war for the sequel. Idk about that, but these scenes are getting me hyped for the 3rd!!!

Holy Shit, I watched it today, there may never be a funnier movie...ever, but it's really sick too. He did everything I thought he wasn't going to do, but some of it I cannot watch.

This movie wasn't what I expected at all.

It was really funny, but I think I was in the mood for it to be. And pretty gross too.

Everyone I think has seen this movie but me...I have never seen his HBO show so that might be part of the reason why I am a little hesitant..

In an age of Will Ferrell comedies, Sacha Baron Cohen is a fucking genius. Anyone who has seen Da Ali G show knows that he is a political and social satirist, and you must watch Borat as a political satire. Remember the line about how he and his country believed Jews were the cause of the 9/11 attacks? Then whenever he is talking in his 'native Kazhaki' language he is really talking in Hebrew. Fucking brilliant.

Or how about the scene with the rodeo hick, getting him to say, on camera, how he wants to lynch gay people and how 'his country is trying to get that done'. Or at the Jesus tent where a supreme court justice is ranting about how the country is purely Christian.

Anyone who focuses just on the crude humor is not going to get the full Borat experience.

I just found it odd that everyone laughed during the naked fight scene, but very few people laughed during the Jewish and Christian jabs. No, not odd, disturbing.

Although I did find the naked fight scene fucking hilarious as well.
