I really hope that the 350Z doesnt become like the PT Cruiser and VW Beetle...where first only a few ppl have them...and then 2 months later EVERYONE has them. I mean here in my town there were like 2 pt's the first month it came to dealers...now everyone and their dog has one

PT and bugs come MSRP for under 20,000. It may not seem so at first but the difference between 20K and 30K acts like a very strong barrier to many many people. Further, the Z is not necessarily parctical or efficient enough to capture the mass market. I would expect that the number of 350s on the road will mimic the 300zx, which even made import car of the year.
Almost none of the reasons that the bug or the PT became popular apply to the Z. At worst I would expect the Z to become as numerous as the Boxter.

I quess you gonna have to make yours a little different " custom ''.
