Can you reduce AA with purified water? Also, do you HAVE to use the reducer that AA makes? Quick answers would be great! Thanks in advance.

Yes you can thin AA with destilled (purified) water, works fine for me.
The AA reducer is pure crap IMO, so is the "new" reducer they recently released, claiming that it was improved. Some like to add a few drops of "Fantastik" to the water, makes it flow nicer. Never tried it because I cant get hold of anything called "Fantastik", I did try ajax, mr.muscle and a whole bunch of other chemicals but never noticed any improvement exept for a nice smell :P

Also, dont forget to heat set the paint after you finished painting!!!!

I' m aso thinning my AA paint whit water and it work well, but as dukeman said, don't forget to heat set your paint. Oh!Dont use the clear coat from AA either, it's not really clear (more like a dull coat) and stay kind of sticky...

i use fantastik with water 50/50 to thin AA down. and the clear dows suck its supposed to be cleared with polyurethane for a bad ass finish but i managed to do ok with future
