today was a good day

today it was blazin hot hear in ohio(well ok not that hot....but still realy hot) so i came home today and washed my car, and man is it shinny! ill post pics tomorrow. then after that i went to work for a few hours and made about $50, so far so good. after work i picked up some friends and we went to see Saw 3, and it was awsome(it realy ties up some loose ends you get from the first 2). so at this point i thought my day was over so i was taking my friends home and its about 9:35ish and we are stopped at a red light and a pizza boy pulls up next to me in a cobalt SS and i was just minding my own business not thinking about anything but the movie we just saw and when the light turned green he looked at me and floored it, he must have saw the tail lights, green corner lights, tinted windows, and chrome rims(which are very shinny now i might add) and thought "i can take this chump" or what ever might have crossed his mind at the time, but any ways i then hit the gas and took off after him on the highway, about 5 seconds later i am at his door and he then cuts me off and i had to slam on the brakes, and i was not going to stand for that pizza hut piece of shit, so i pulled into the other lane and flew passed him faster than he could figure out what hit him while flipping him the bird. and keep this in mind, i had 2 passengers and a full tank of gas plus i did not even plan on racing until he took off like a bat out of hell. so i think i wooped his ass majorly if i do say so myself:grinyes:

That depends on what ss. The s/ced umm no good but the 2.4 ss it is possible but thats a drivers race right there.

To clarify, there's an SS and an SS Supercharged, two different motors.

And yes, a few mods on a 2.4 Cavalier vs a 2.4Eco Cobalt could be a driver's race.

i've beat the plain SS wit my car, granted i have the 2.4. i haven't raced an SC one but o well. and mayb you think its childish overallcoma, but to others its fun.

Heh dont start a steet racing war in here. AF doesnt condone it, and niether do we. Its your choice, drive as you wish. But just for warning, heres a story of what happened to me this weekend.

WRX vs Prelude (over before it began, literally)
Me and my friend were driving around down a high way, and we come across a prelude that looks really nice, sounds good, and a good looking exhaust. Matt (wrx guy) is ahead of me trying to line him up to race, and we run into a little traffic, and the prelude still doesnt know hes there. So matt changes lanes and pulls next to him and revs it and takes off a little to let tthe prelude change lanes behind them to reach an open stretch of road. (*Note* The lane the prelude was in is still full of traffic, maybe rolling at 20 mph)
So as soon as matt takes off, the prelude attempts to launch outta his lane to catch up. And not half a second after he let go of the clutch, the suv infront of him slams on their brakes, and BANG! The prelude launched right into the back bumper of the suv. As I pass it I see that the hood looks like like a triangle /\, and there is smoke pouring out of the wheel wells and the front of the bumper. Both headlights were smashed, and Im pretty sure it was totaled. I couldnt see the driver because it had like 5% tint and its like 9 oclock at night. But yeah, thats my excitement for the night, and the reason you shouldnt race on the highway! (Man I wish I had a video of this...)

I want to sell my cav and get something a little faster and something u don't see a million off when your driving around theres a sick 96 eclipse RS by my house thats red only 130,000km n standard.
Any1 know if thats faster than my cav the eclipse is completey stock but looks a hell of alot better than my cav dose

My buddy has a yellow 04 i think.... and let's just say WOW.... yeah I had him through first...due to turbo lag....and after that first blow off it was all downhill, lol. I hit the governor...but he still had at least 70 feet in front of me..It was horrid, lol. we pulled over and he was like dude, I can't believe you stayed with me for that long, i was like "fag" lol.

lol its not because of turbo lag....boost level is limited by the ECU to 5 lbs of boost in 1st gear, then 13, Spiking at 15/16 from 2nd - 5th....and after owning an SRT-4 i can proudly say they are everything i thought they would b...some good and some bad..but mostly good

secondly...Shane is a friend of mine from High school i havnt seen or heard from in 2 years...so hes a friend, but i dont care if his sister baught my car...he was in the Cavalier when i e-braked at 50MPH...LoL he knows the car has been through hell and back

As for Jayz24, what's wrong with your cavy? Your cavy looks way better then a stock 96 eclipse, the 95/96's with the older front bumpers are friggin oogly. And they only have 140hp with 130tq, your z24 with 150hp and 155tq would own it. If you're looking for an eclipse go with a 1997 GST stock turbo'd with 210hp, or the AWD GSX also turbo'd with 210hp
