Dome light issue...

Howdy!
I just bought an '03 Tib and my dome light does not come on when I open the door. It does come on when I press the middle button but the button does not stay on. The 2 outside buttons make the light come on and stay on but I would like to be able to see getting into and out of my car. Does any one know why it does not come on automatically. Thanks!

Well, if it's like mine (2005 w/sunroof) then the 2 outside buttons control each light separately, and the middle one (says "door" on mine) has 2 settings. If it's in, the lights (both) come on when I open the door. If it's off (out), they don't. If your middle button won't stay "on" then that's probably the problem.
