17x7.5?

hm... I just order some rims. I was wondering if 17x7.5 for my civic if it's too much? like I know 7 is fine but don't know about 7.5. How much will it rub? Also the offset is 42mm. Is this bad? I don't remeber anything about the Rim specs so I appologize for all these questions.
oh ya these are gonna be wraped in yokohama avs es100 with 205/40/17 this is good right?

Yes that will work fine. I have always gotten 7.5 instead of 7. One set of wheels had a 40mm offset, the other had a 42mm offset.
