MECA finals

Anyone going to the MECA finals on Nov 11-12 ? It's in Shepherdsville, KY at the Bullit county fairgrounds.

If i go, i wouldn't be competing, but I don't think so, KY is really far from NY.

I am sure there will be a few from far off - I know one guy is from south florida. It's a good 3 1/2 jour drive (one way) for me.

distance doesn't bother me, i've driven to pittsburgh on couple occasions (6-8hr drive one way), its the time i need to set aside to make that distance. is it the same place every year?

yea, it's kinda expensive to compete for the weekend ..... but it also includes quite a bit. It may not be very expensive to just spectate though, the event is at the fairgrounds, not one of the convention centers.

hey, you guys will be under a pavillion :D The dB drag finals killed the MECA sq guys though. They said the concrete under their cars was pulsating as they were being judged .... and you KNOW the MECA folks were just a side event anyway, unless you entered db drag too.
