steering wheel attachments

Is it illegal in any states to attach something to a steering wheel - like a steering knob? I've heard it's illegal in California but see nothing in the Cal vehicle code about it.

Hahaha I hear you about the knob. As far as I know its illegal to install one on your wheel unless you have a disability that would require it. But that can be taken care of with a saw and a bottle or two of tequilla... and PRESTO! Steering knob for you there Nubby!
