December Import Tuner's Tuning Article

Has anyone read the article in Import Tuner's December 2007 edition called "Tune Into This?" It's a pretty decently written article and would be a great read for someone who knows nothing about tuning, or even a beginner tuner. They make some good points and there's quite a bit of good general information. I give it a :thumbsup:

Import Tuner made a good article?!? How the FUCK did that happen? Every Import Tuner I have ever seen has lead me to the conclusion that they should change their name to "RICE." I swear to god they seem to have the most unknowledgable staff ever.

Haha there are actually TWO decent articles in this one. One about beginner tuning, and one about counterfeit car parts. Pretty good reads. I dunno about scanning them up though, don't wanna get in trouble for something dumb like that.

Well yeah, its not legal to post it up here. Hence the reason I said scan it up to "somewhere else". lol As in right to a computer and then directly send it to each other. :p

i saw a 1g talon fwd turbo in that tunnig article once, a few years ago. it said base hp was 160. i was like wtffffff...

it said first best mod to do is put a BIG ASS EXHAUST out the back... not really, but they mention like "get an apexi 3inch exhaust, injen intake" and then the hp after those mods was 200 i think. i was like WOW!

then it mentioned cams, exhaust manifold, stage 2 turbo something, i dunno. Anywyas after they were done it was like 250 hp.

then they said put some stickers and a body kit...like a damn honda. dsm's are waaay out of import tuner's league

Well, I'm too poor to have subscriptions to Rice magazine (I mean, Import Tuner)... So I get to learn all of my mods from the guys here and VFAQ.

I'm a Modified Mag guy, so I wouldn't know.. but even that is getting into drifting too much, BAH. Good old Car and Driver :)
