2.3 skipping problem

I have a 95 2.3 LO. For some reason when im driving at 75-80 mph it skips and jerks the car around. It also does this when the car is running at low rpm's and the rpms start to jump around when its idling. It also skips when you accelerate at ease( roll into the throttle ). does anyone have a solution?

Problem with spark plugs/wires. An engine that starts to sound rough when high speeds are
reached is typically having some sort of problem with the
spark plugs and/or spark plugs wires. You see, the faster
you drive, the more frequent the spark plugs fire. So, if the
plugs and/or wires are failing, as AutoTech suspects, it'll be
most noticeable at high speeds, when the plugs/wires are
being put to maximum use.

Replace both the spark plugs and spark plug wires. In most
cases, this will fix the problem. However, if it doesn't, you'll
need to take this vehicle to a garage for a complete analysis.
NOTE: You can buy new plugs and wires at any auto parts
store. If you need help in replacing the plugs/wires, refer to a
repair manual which covers this vehicle.

When i asked on another site they mentioned a coil pack housing. Could that be the problem? i think its the same thing as spark plug wires right?
