95 Suburban 5.7l motor Swap with 02 5.3l

I have a 95 GMC suburban with some motor and transmission problems. I found in the local paper a fairly new motor and trans out of a 2002 suburban. I was looking for advice on swapping these motors. The price of the new motor appears to be less than what it would cost to fix the current motor, however I might be somewhat ignorant. Would this motor bolt up to the stock motor mounts? What kind of electrical items need to be swapped? Any advice would be appreciated

Currently GMC 1500 suburban 4x4 5.7L 350 with R4 trans

Wanted to swap with 5.3 LITER L59 GM MOTOR and transmission out of 2002 suburban

Not sure about the motor mounts; however, you will need the PCM out of the 2002 and all of the sensors/controls and wiring for the PCM. Companies like painless probably sell a harness for the LS based engines.

Thanks for the reply, I think I would need to fab new motor mounts and possible cut the driveshaft. Probably more work than its worth.
