1994 Olds Achieva acceleration hesitation

We have a 1994 Olds Achieva w/3100 engine the engine runs great except when you put it in gear and try to accelerate it dies. We have changed the fuel pump, fuel filter, throttle positioning sensor and cam sensor still does the same. When it was put on diagnostic it said the throttle positioning sensor was bad it has been replaced three times since and still does the same. Anyone have any ideas?
