:flash: 1) annunciator by rear view mirror lights when push to test but only brake light comes on before car start. Relay or ? controls circuits.
2) door locks only trunk lock functions properly, driver door does nothing to lock or unlock (if you locked from trunk). Passenger door lock will unlock system (if locked from trunk) but will not lock system. vacumn seems fine as far as leake go?3) check engine on main dash flashes after a pressure wash. is this controlled by relay for oxygen sensor or? intermittent throughout car operation no pattern.:frog: I just got the car and want to get it all correct. 4) best way to reseal leaks aroung front and sides on top to prevent rain infiltration(if possible). thanks for your time Peter.

when you start the car the brake light indicator should come on in the check control panel. this is by design. when you depress the brake pedal it should go away.
i am not quite sure i am understanding the issues you are having with the door locks. but i will let you know how mine work.
the driver side door lock can lock and unlock the entire car, including the trunk. it also features a double lock. this is activated when the keyhole is horizontal. when this is activated only the driver side door can deactivate it. you can unlock the other doors on the passenger side and trunk but the driver side will remain locked. if while double lock is engaged and you unlocked through the pass or trunk, then lock thru the pass or trunk, it will lock all unlocked doors and driver door remains locked.
if the drivers side door is not double locked then they all do the same thing when locking or unlocking. if not double locked and you unlock from any keyhole then all doors will lock, if locking through any keyhole then all doors will lock.
not sure about the pressure wash question. . .

Regarding annunciator problem: when ignition is turned on the warning lights should all light , only the brake light warning comes on. the system has power as indicated in the press to test function. is there a relay that controls the inputs from the various lights to the annunciator.
Door lock problem is either linkage or relay related as drivers door lock is inoperative in any and all functions regardless of position of all locks how is the lock mechanism activated by key? mechanical, microswitch or other. thinking it's a riggging problem but any input would be appreciated.
I'm curious what the "check engine light" is really controlled by, what sensor or circuit controls this?
top leake will be trial and error.
Any sources for elctric top rigging that anyone knows are thourough and clear please advise. thanks Peter.:sun:
