hey, I got a code for bad camshaft sensor, so I went out a bought a new one, but before i install it do I need to time the sensor or just put it in and start the car? And if I do need to time it how should I? The car is a 96 gt 2.4 5 speed

You just install it.
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Unplug the sensor harness connector at the sensor.
- Unfasten the retaining bolt, then remove the sensor from the camshaft housing.
To install
- Place the sensor into position.
- Install the CMP sensor retaining bolt, then tighten to 88 inch lbs (10 Nm).
- Attach the sensor harness connector.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
Hope that helps!
