I have a shimmy on the front passenger side. I jacked the car up and there is about a 21/2 inch play in the wheel when I wiggle it. The car will shimmy at speeds over 45mph, but when I turn the wheel it will quit. I checked the bearings, they are fine. Checked the tie rod ends, they are good. I traced the shaft from the tie rod end to the steering box and I can wiggle it where it attaches to the steering box.:banghead: Also my ABS brake light is on,even though I changed brake pads about 6 months ago.Any ideas?

I called Advance Auto, and the guy there told me it is my inner tie rod end. What do you think?

Could be, but a diagnosis from Advance over the phone??, if you are not sure here get a pro to look at it!
