Thinking of getting a '63 190 SL

Been looking at 190SL's lately. I noticed the price on most 63's to be in the less than 20k region. More specificly I have seen allot for 10k or 15k. I cant decide if this is a good price. The cars look beautiful, but are they all lemons? That sounds dumb coming from a benz owner, because almost no benz is a lemon unless its mistreated. The insurance on them wasnt pretty. I got quoted 1700 bucks every 6 months (19 years old, smoker, driving 3 years, no accidents, perfect record, silver colour, etc). Will these 190SL's hold up for daily driving? Back and forth to work, maybe out of town every so often? I guess the real question is would they last up to the 300-400 thousand miles marker like other mercedes will? Thanks.
