Hello all,
We have a 40's Ford frame with a 70's Camaro subframe attached to the front. The subframe was computer aligned so it should be ok. The problem we are having ...
We used 70's Camaro motor mounts and a 350 Chevy motor. The Motor seems to be off an inch from one side to the other. Is a small block offset? There is a factory hole in the center off the cross member. The front of the crank where the pulley goes does not line up with this hole OR the center of the cross member. Is it suposed to be like that??
Thanks

I know some of the Novas had offset mounts to give the steering shaft/box and exhaust manifold more clearance. I guess the Camaro was the same deal. Make sure you have the mounts on the correct side too. You might want to try a set of mid 60's Chevy pickup truck or Impala mounts.
